About Broken Hill Music

Broken Hill Music Hill Music has been operating since August 1986, when Ron Harrison from Regent Music in Adelaide, decided to open the shop in Broken Hill. Peter Harvey was the Manager from the beginning, and the store was first situated at No. 3 Chloride Street, (now the Town Square).

In May 1989, Peter and wife, Chris, bought the shop from Ron, and have owned it since that time. The premises has moved twice since the first shop; once to the cnr Argent and Bromide Streets, and again in 1999, to 433 Argent Street (diagonally opposite the Sully’s building) where it is still situated.
